Something being old doesn’t make it good. Something being different doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s the ability to discern value that is important.
What if we didn’t define people by what we think they can’t do?
Everything in this world was never done at some point. Someone had to be crazy enough to attempt it.
Don’t get trapped in the frameworks of outdated ideas.
We see everyone as competition but in life we are running our own race.
If we trip and fall, we feel like everyone is running away from us.
Get up.
Falling isn’t failing, staying down is.
If you have to constantly watch your team, you have already failed as a leader.
You need to trust they know the direction they need to go.
While you keep clearing them a path to follow.
The trap is feeling like doing something is getting you somewhere.
Thoughtful beginnings create beneficial outcomes.
We want to start with curiosity, not certainty.
Ideas that have been around don’t mean they are right.
Updating your ideas given new evidence and information isn’t a sign that you were wrong the whole time.
It is a sign that courage to improve and change.
Values are something that should cost you.
You make the choice to do the right thing rather than the easy thing.
Setting high standards is easy, living up to them is the challenge.
Data is not reality, it is a slice of what we can and want to observe.
If we only value what we can count we miss the chance to learn what is meaningful rather that measurable.
Context is as important as data.
Inconsistency breeds confusion and erodes trust.
Great leaders know that trust is built through consistent actions.
When actions align with values, it sets a powerful example for others to follow.
Don’t confuse plans with action.
Just made a plan & something unexpected popped up?
Don’t ditch it entirely! Flexibility is key. Great plans are springboards, not shackles.
Planning is the roadmap, execution is the journey.
